Why Is Marriage Important in Christianity?

Marriage is important for Christians because it's a gift from God, its part of God’s plan for creation that men and women should live together. It’s also important because it provides a relationship through which husband and wife support each other and bring up children.

Others say it is because it provides a relationship through which husband and wife?support?each other; this relationship is built on?love and faithfulness. The last reason why it is important to Christians is because it provides a?secure environment?for the bringing up of?children.
