HEAVEN'S APPOINTMENT
The day's work was very hectic and so he got home and he decided to relax on the seetee and in the blink of an eye, he dozed off. Suddenly, a bright light illuminated the room through the entrance door. The latent intensity of the intruding light obviously forced him to wake up and just in that instant he could behold a glorious figure, full of splendour coming into the room. He gathered up some courage to welcome the unusual guest.ii


'LORD, welcome to my humble abode.' The guest obviously needs no introduction for He is the Lord. 'I am highly honored to be your host.' He added.

'Thank you, my son. I decided to visit you the moment your grief came up to me. Ask me anything you want me to do for you.' The Lord replied.

'Lord, please give me a child!' He went on his knees. 'I have been married to my wife for thirteen years now without the fruit of the womb. We desperately need a child even if it would be the only one' He requested.

'Your request is granted. You just have to make sure you shake the hands of your General Overseer on Sunday and in nine months' time you shall celebrate.' And with that the Lord left and the light was pulled up to heaven.

Eventually, he woke up from his slumber only to realise that he had been in a trance. Now he was sure that God has finally answered his prayers. Now he has to shake the hand of the 'G.O' during Sunday's service which obviously to him is one of the easiest thing to do. Infact, that is a routine thing to do since he had been receiving the 'Annointed Handshake' every now and then because he is a senior usher in the church and his position is directly behind the pulpit. He was so happy at the thought... But...
